About Teresa
Ng, M.S., L.A.c.

Teresa
Ng, L.Ac. MSTCM, has a Master of Science in Traditional Chinese
Medicine from the Academy of Chinese Culture & Health Sciences (ACCHS) in
Oakland
and is licensed by the state of
California
. She is a
second-generation practitioner of TCM.
Her learning of
Chinese medicine started when she was a teenager at her
parents, In Peng Ng and Ti Ki Ng�s integrated clinic
that specialized in both Western Medicine and Traditional Chinese
Medicine in
Macau
,
China
. As Teresa
observed her parents� success in helping patients recover from
their illnesses and maintaining wellness through their practice,
Teresa started to grow in her interest and passion to learn
Chinese medicine.
During
her studies at ACCHS, Teresa actively pursued opportunities to
further her training by participating as an Acupuncture
interpreter for seminars sponsored by the California Certified
Acupuncture Association. The
university also requested her expertise in interpretation for Dr.
Leung, a knowledgeable TCM doctor at the university clinic.
Furthermore, Teresa had the privilege to work for the
famous ninety-three year old Chinese Medicine Master, Dr. Bing Yan
Li, before her retirement. Dr.
Li is being recognized by
China
in the Famous People Record as one of the top 300 most knowledgeable
Chinese medicine doctors. In
addition, Teresa gained knowledgeable insight and proficiency in
TCM after working under another successful TCM doctor, Dr. Chai,
who has over forty-five years of extensive clinical experience.
Teresa
undertook
post-graduate clinical studies at the renowned First Affiliated
Hospital of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine
in
China
, focusing on the treatment of pain, women�s health problem, digestive
problems, weight loss & beauty
with Chinese medicine.
Teresa
is currently practicing in
Oakland
.
She has been very successful in treating chronic
pain and fibromyalgia,
various women's health problems
including infertility, digestive
disorders and skin disorders.
She is also a faculty member at ACCHS and has given public
talks on Chinese Medicine topics on behalf of the
University. If
